This prime-moving piece of blackened poetry appeals its listeners to be engulf in the enthralling vision of Sándor Petőfi's poesye as the gripping and emotional burst of Bál's scorching black metal suffices enough to grip with thy bare hands that freezing soil tarnished by the angst of human frailty.🤘🏼🖤🔥🎶

Hungarian Atmospheric / Post-Black Metal. Very nice & extremely passionate. I love the idea of the entire thing being a reinterpretation of a poem! It sucks that it was not accepted due to "lack of resources" because it certainly deserved much much more than that! Thanks for sharing it Bál! Highly recommended!!!

I prepared this work for the Petőfi Cloud Project open tender announced by the Hungarian Culture Foundation on March 15, 2023. To be exact, I rewrote Sándor Petőfi's poem titled "Van e egy marok föld..." and set it to music/noise. There were not many restrictions, perhaps the most important was that a poem written by Petőfi had to be rewritten and a song must have been composed around it, the result of which could not be a classical piece. I planned to make a physical release of this single with many physical copies with several variations (CDs, tapes, maybe vinyl), but since I was notified today of the rejection of my application, that will not happen. What was the reason for the rejection you may ask?
"Lack of resources"
It particularly irritates me that the effort I put in was lost, which now I'm trying to save by sharing this with you here digitally. Working on the project was extremely exciting, but it hurts that I can't get what I deserve. So, the Foundation for Hungarian Culture, Petőfi Agency Nonprofit Zrt. and their associates can fuck your pregnant, thieving, whore mothers, I hope you will spend the money you pocketed from me and my kind on medicine!
Well-arranged structures, the darkness defined well and it is under his control. He is able to lead you on a unique dark and cold journey that you never took before. BÁL

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke

Gormoth 1219 plays mournful and elegant (even cosmic on occasion) Hungarian dsbm that's more Celestia than Happy Days; always a welcome change of pace! This latest EP is the one-man project's most thoughtful and mature of the lot, never settling into a specific gloomy mood for long but always black as pitch. Beautiful. Vintage Devilry
Another scorcher from the phenomenal one-man black metal outfit STARER, with mind-flaying riffs and eerie tremolo-picked melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 31, 2023
